Amelie Bissinger

Program Manager

Amelie was born in Bietigheim-Bissingen. She came into contact with other languages and cultures at an early age, as she was raised in a beautiful little town in Canada for several years. She moved back to Germany with her family and finished school in Besigheim, which is not far from the CEPA Headquarter in Ingersheim.

After graduating from high school, she worked as an Au-Pair in Ireland for several months. This experience fostered her organizational skills and the fascination for the English language. Therefore, she decided to study English and Linguistics at the University of Tübingen. During her studies she completed an internship in a cultural and educational institution mainly serving as a forum for German-American cultural exchange. This helped her gain a deep insight into the American culture. In addition, while being a mentor to foreign prospective students she realized that intercultural experiences are of great importance to the personal development of a young person. That’s why she is excited to be able to work in an international environment and to support the team in developing and implementing programs for students.

Her native language is German, she is fluent in English, and has basic knowledge of French and Italian.
