Jana Richter

Program Manager

Jana grew up in a small Bavarian village near the city of Ulm in southern Germany. At an early age during primary school, she discovered her enthusiasm for foreign cultures and languages.

After finishing school, she seized the opportunity to step out of her comfort zone and traveled through South America for several months. There she immersed herself deeply in the South American culture, learning Spanish and constantly maintaining contact with locals.

Jana highly values interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds, which led her to complete a bachelor’s degree in International Tourism Management at the University of Applied Sciences Worms.  During her studies, she completed an international internship in Madrid, which since then has become her favorite European city, and participated in a one-year study-abroad program at a northern Spanish university. Through these experiences, she was able to expand her Spanish language skills to a high level. She also speaks German and English fluently.

My favorite quote or advice:

True to the famous quote “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page” Jana’s cultural experiences have encouraged her to think outside the box and grow both personally and professionally. The desire to help students do the same motivates her in her versatile work as a trainee at CEPA.
