Laura Niedermayer Study Abroad Coordinator

Laura was born in the south of Germany not far away from the CEPA headquarters in Ingersheim. With relatives in Italy and Scotland she started to travel in Europe and in the US at a young age.

During high school, Laura had the opportunity to spend some time in Cleveland with a guest family where she went to school and gained a deeper insight into the American culture.

After graduating, she wanted to take some time and explore the world a little more. New Zealand was her destination of choice and she went there doing work and travel for several months. During this experience she encountered many different cultures and met people from all over the world.

Back in Germany Laura moved to Erlangen, where she lived in an international shared-flat with foreign students and studied Theatre, Media and Political Science at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
After she finished her studies, Laura did a six months long internship at the financial sector and organized marketing campaigns for several products and banks. With this gained organization skills, she decided to go back to her passion for travel and started to work at CEPA. She is excited to help other students experience an unforgettable time abroad.
