Sam was born in the beautiful Black Forest city of Freiburg. He always had multicultural influences which sparked his interests in different countries and languages. Before his studies he spent several months in New Zealand, Australia, and the United States. This time abroad proved itself to be important milestone in terms of his networking and language skills.
To get a different point of view, he started studying Scandinavian Studies at the University of Tübingen. While learning the Swedish and Norwegian language, he also focused on Social and Cultural Studies in Scandinavia. He also spent nine months in Sweden whereof six at the University of Uppsala. After that, he had a three-month internship at an institute in Stockholm where he learned the international importance of networking and the relationship between language and culture within Europe.
Following his bachelor’s degree, he decided to work at CEPA where he can gladly bring in his international, language, and organizing skills to help other students experience live changing moments.
