Sigrun Stahl, Study Abroad Coordinator

Sigrun was born in Heidelberg and then grew up in Lauffen am Neckar, near Stuttgart. After she graduated from high school, she moved to Oxford, England to work as an au-pair for a British family. After a year in England, she returned to Germany to begin her college studies in Tourism Management at the Angell-Akademie in Freiburg in the Black Forest. After two years of study, she continued at the University of Brighton, England where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2007.

After her university studies, she spent two years working and traveling across Australia. There, she gained invaluable practical experience working in the tourism sector during that time. She came back to Germany in 2010 and started her job at a tour operator near Frankfurt am Main. Her main responsibilities were to organize group bus journeys to France.

Sigrun returned to her “Heimat” a few years later to settle down in the same area where she grew up. She joined the CEPA team in February 2019 and looks forward to the new experiences and challenges it will bring. The best part about her job is that she can combine her job skills and personal interests of meeting new people, learning about foreign languages and cultures as well as traveling to different countries.

Her native language is German. She is fluent in English, French, and has working knowledge of Italian. Sigrun is very happy to make every study abroad program a success. She will meticulously organize each and every detail of the program to provide participants with a fabulous and unforgettable stay abroad.
