Sara Ruggeri - Program Manager

Sara was born in Palermo where she grew up and lived till the age of 18. She is half Italian half German and was raised bilingual, which helped her to quickly adapt to many different situations.

After accomplishing a social year in a small city near Nürnberg, she decided to study Tourism, Sport and Event Management at the trilingual Free University of Bozen. This experience gave her the possibility to meet different people and cultures, plus the ability to improve her German and English language skills.

During her studies, she applied for an exchange semester in Bangkok, where she studied at the International Business Administration Faculty. This was one of the greatest experiences in her life. She really enjoyed the time spent in Thailand, getting in touch with a completely different culture and experiencing a "new world".

Eager for more travelling adventures, she decided to do an internship in Australia after her Bachelor Degree. She worked for 4 months in a Destination Management Company and travelled for almost 6 months across the country. Those experiences made her more independent and further developed her passion for travelling.

After one and an half years working as a Location and Event Manager for a well-known Catering Company, she decided to return to the tourism industry.

In her free time, Sara loves to go out, enjoy nature, cook with friends and of course travel!

Her native languages are Italian and German. She is fluent in English and also has basic knowledge of Spanish and French.
