    RST 330: Christianity and Italian Culture (Study Abroad)

    This course will examine the development of Christianity from the early Church to present-day Catholicism through immersion in religious history and culture of Rome, Italy. Students will explore theology, history, language, and culture as they related to Christianity in Rome and in Italian populations of the United States.

International Travel Health Insurance

  • CEPA requires that all participants in the group have international travel and health insurance. If your group requires insurance, it can be purchased through CEPA’s insurance provider CareMed (Gold insurance which includes health coverage, medical evacuation, repatriation, lost luggage, and third-party liability insurance)

  • Tips for guides, drivers, waiters and coordinators can be included in the program upon request as listed in the program fee section

  • Passport or visa expenses/requirements must be checked well in advance, especially for non-U.S. or Canadian citizens. Each participant is responsible for obtaining any travel documentation required such as visas and passports, which must be valid for all countries of travel. Upon request, CEPA can issue group travel tour confirmations e.g. “Tour Operator Information for the Application of Schengen Visa” to assist you.
  • Passport holders from visa-exempt countries, like the United States, Canada and Brazil can apply for travel authorization to the European Union via ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias_en).
  • Please note that Schengen visas and ETIAS travel authorization does not include entry to the United Kingdom. For the United Kingdom, you need to apply for ETA from January 2025 onwards, which authorizes an individual to travel to the UK: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta
