    Few things are as important as environmental sustainability in today’s world. We need to make sure we use the resources we have wisely so that our children will be able to continue to enjoy the same quality of life as we do. The Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark are world leaders when it comes to innovations in fields such as wind energy and building cities for the future by considering ecological sustainability today.

    Students participating in this program will learn about these innovations first-hand from experts working towards a better tomorrow.

    • DAY 1

      • Overnight flight to Amsterdam, The Netherlands (group flight can be booked separately)

    • DAY 2-3: AMSTERDAM

      • Orientation session by your on-site CEPA coordinator
      • Guided bike tour focusing on sustainability
      • Welcome dinner at a Dutch restaurant
      • Cruise of the Amsterdam canals
      • Visit De Dakdokters (rooftop doctors) to learn more about their work and mission

    • DAY 4-7: HAMBURG

      • Visit an energy provider to learn about the usage of ecological resources
      • Company visit to learn about solar techniques and hear how Hamburg is using solar energy
      • Group dinner at a German restaurant
      • Guided boat tour of Hamburg’s harbor
      • Guided tour of HafenCity Hamburg

    • DAY 8-10: COPENHAGEN

      • Visit the Department of Municipal Development of the City of Copenhagen for a presentation
      • A visit to a wind farm incl. presentation and off-shore tour
      • Guided tour of the Amager Ressource Center to learn how it actively participates in the green transformation of Denmark
      • Guided tour of Rosenborg Castle
      • Farewell dinner at a Danish restaurant
