    Ireland’s history is one of prehistoric wonders, Celtic myth, monastic scholarship, artistic and literary exploration, invasions, conflict, and resolution.

    This exciting study abroad opportunity will allow students to travel through Ireland and Northern Ireland, studying history, cultures, and literature. Many sites of historical and literary importance as well as natural places of beauty will be visited.

    • DAY 1

    • DAY 2-4: GALWAY - BUNRATTY - ARAN ISLANDS

      • Welcome dinner at an Irish restaurant
      • Admission to Cliffs of Moher, which are among the most impressive places to see in Ireland
      • Admission to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, the most complete and authentic medieval fortress in Ireland
      • Guided bus tour of the Aran Island
    • DAY 5-10: DUBLIN

      • Guided tour of Trinity College and the Old Library
      • Guided tour of Kilmainham Gaol, one of the largest unoccupied jails in Europe
      • Guided tour of Glasnevin Cemetery and Museum
      • Guided tour of the Dublin Writers Museum
      • Guided tour of the James Joyce Centre
      • Guided tour of the Guinness Storehouse (beer tasting included)
      • Gaelic conversational language crash course
      • Backstage tour of the Abbey Theatre, the National Theatre of Ireland
      • Admission to the EPIC Irish Emigration Museum
