Within a timeframe of 10 years, many countries in the Baltics developed a high number of start-up companies until today. A key factor, which ensured that many start-ups became successful, is the governmental support in each country. Compared to the rest of Europe, the Baltics can today show a much higher number of tech hubs as well as start-up companies, even though the Baltics are home to only roughly 6 million people.

  • DAY 1

    • Overnight flight to Vilnius, Lithuania (group flight can be booked separately)
  • DAY 2-4: VILNIUS

    Stay 3 nights at a 4-star hotel in Vilnius

    • Arrival at Vilnius International Airport (VNO)
    • Check-in at the hotel and orientation session by your CEPA On-Site Coordinator
    • Guided walking tour of the Old Town of Vilnius, during which you will explore its beautiful architecture. The Old Town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.
    • Welcome dinner at a Lithuanian restaurant
    • Visit a gaming company, which is an expert mobile app and game developer. The company will be a special provider of end-to-end solutions in the app development sector for smartphones.
    • Free afternoon to explore the capital of Lithuania further at your own pace
    • Visit a business solution provider leading in Northern Europe, focusing on business optimization and management tools for SME’s and enterprise companies
    • Admission to the Museum of Occupations and Freedom Rights, also known as the KGB Museum of Vilnius
  • DAY 5-7: RIGA - KAUNAS

    Stay 3 nights at a 3-star hotel in Riga

    • Free time in Kaunas for your own explorations
    • Check-in at the hotel and orientation session by your CEPA On-Site Coordinator
    • Visit a Latvian start-up company which offers co-working space for technology entrepreneurs as a network community
    • Visit a drone company that develops autonomous and cost-effective UAS for special industry purposes
    • Guided walking tour of Riga Old Town, including a visit to the central market to explore the Romanesque and Gothic architecture of Latvia’s capital
    • Enjoy some free time to explore Riga further on your own
    • Group dinner at a Latvian restaurant
  • DAY 8-10: TALLINN - PÄRNU

    Stay 4 nights at a 4-star hotel in Tallinn

    • Free time in Pärnu for your own explorations and a group lunch at an Estonian restaurant
    • Check-in at the hotel and orientation session by your CEPA On-Site Coordinator
    • Guided walking tour of Tallinn Old Town to get an insight into the history of the Estonian capital
    • Visit the Estonian start-up supercharger, which is a governmental initiative to support the Estonian start-up ecosystem with financial aid
    • Guided tour of the Bastion Tunnels, including admission to the famous artillery tower “Kiek in the Kök”
    • Admission to the Vabamu Museum of Occupation and Freedom, which focuses on personal narratives about crimes against humanity to help us better appreciate justice and freedom for all
    • Visit an Estonian start-up company which became famous by selling a sales management tool to more than 85,000 companies
    • Visit a robot start-up that focuses on revolutionizing door to door deliveries for food and regular packages
  • DAY 11: PALDISKI

    • Guided bus tour of the area of Paldiski to discover the beautiful coastal area. During the tour, you will explore the Keila-Joa waterfalls and the limestone cliffs at Türisalu and Pakri. Another gem of Northern Estonia which you will see are the ruins of the Padise Monastery.
  • DAY 12-14: HELSINKI

    Stay 2 night at a 3-star hotel in Helsinki

    • Ferry tickets from Tallinn to Helsinki
    • Check-in at the hotel and orientation session by your CEPA On-Site Coordinator
    • Guided walking tour of Helsinki, during which you will see some of the city’s highlights such as the Cathedral of Helsinki or Parliament House. The guided tour will also include the admission to the famous Rock Church.
    • Free afternoon in Helsinki
    • Visit a virtual reality company which is well known for their unique VR-headset in Northern Europe
    • Visit an accumulator start-up that develops high-quality products for military personnel, emergency services, and outdoor enthusiasts
    • Farewell dinner at a Finnish restaurant
    • Departure from Helsinki Vantaa Airport (HEL)
