Participants of this program will gain a deeper appreciation of how the Cold War (1945-1991) specifically changed Berlin, influenced a wider international struggle, and how a collective power helped bring down Communism.
In order to bring context to the interests and goals of the involved superpowers, students will be able to discuss the ways in which the Cold War rivalry affected Europe and the world as a whole. This will help equip them with the proficiency to evaluate the current and emerging international order.
