International Fall semester symposium at the European Study Center (ESC) Strasbourg, France

From November 7-8 students from the European Study Center in Heidelberg and Strasbourg attended the 6th International Symposium at the Château de Pourtalès, hosted by CEPA Foundation.

Fall 2016 Topic: Conflict and Cooperation at EU Borders: Open or Closed Borders

Are border regions helpless facing the immigration crisis?

The symposium is funded through the Jean Monnet Programme, also known as the Jean Monnet Project, a European Union initiative which promotes knowledge on European integration on a worldwide scale.

Our students actively participated in the symposium along with 40 international students from the University of Stasbourg’s Certificate of European Studies. They took part in panel discussions and listened to different presentations from high-caliber professionals.
